07 Shadows and Light

Great pictures and video are a result of great lighting decisions. Today, we’re going to look at some of the skills required to achieve this.

Like a lot of our DMT skills, this may take a day to learn but a lifetime to master.

Are you up for the task?

• 1.7 Students will be able to describe three-point lighting.
• 1.8 Students will be able to demonstrate correct light placement in relation to camera for effective shadows and light.
• 1.9 Students will be able to understand how correct lighting combines with camera exposure to ensure quality digital images in both film and photography.
